About Heritage Fresno
Heritage Fresno advocates historical preservation by means which include encouraging the study of local history, organizing public participation in environmental review, publication of articles in a newsletter, and testimony before public boards and commissions.
With the help of our extensive local membership, Heritage Fresno conducts educational programs and events which stress the importance of historic preservation for the maintenance of an authentic community.
In this way, we hope to achieve our goal of enriching the future by preserving our past.

Local History Book Fair
Saturday, September 18, 2010
Heritage Fresno is proud to announce that its fourth annual History Writers Book Fair will be held on Saturday, September 18th, 2010, from 9:30 AM until 2:30 PM. This event will be held at the Coke Hallowell Center for River Studies at Riverview Ranch, 11605 Old Friant Road.
The Book Fair will see the unveiling of several exciting new titles. It will be the first public opportunity to see, examine and purchase the new anthology of first-hand reminiscences of early Native-American and pioneer experience along the San Joaquin River compiled by Coke and Joell Hallowell.
